What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a safe and effective natural therapy that is used to heal illness, prevent disease and improve well-being. Tiny, hair-thin needles are inserted into specific points in the body, where they are gently stimulated to trigger the body’s natural healing response. Acupuncture is effective for controlling pain and can regulate the body’s physiological functions to treat various internal dysfunction and disorders.
What is Shiatsu Anma?
Shiatsu is an Asian Bodywork Therapy, based upon Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles. These principles assess and evaluate the energetic system of the body called Qi. Shiatsu’s techniques of touch, pressure, stretching, and range of motion help assist the natural healing process of the body-mind-spirit. The goal behind Shiatsu is to support, promote, maintain, and restore well-being. The client remains fully-clothed during a session.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word composed of 2 words
- “Rei” (the Universal Spirit of energy that surrounds everything)
- “Ki” (Vital Life energy)
This powerful system of healing helps to encourage balance in the natural life force energy we carry in our bodies. Reiki is administered by the gentle placement of hands on or above the body in a series of positions. This powerful healing art can accelerate the healing process, aid in deep relaxation and is very effective in pain reduction. The client remains fully-clothed during a session.
