Cupping and Dry Needling
You may have seen circular marks placed systematically on an athlete’s body as they perform (most noticeable in swimming). These are the tell-tale signs of cupping therapy, which helps increase blood flow and release fascia in a particular region — relieving tightness, and promoting healing.

Similarly, dry needling focuses on trigger points, or contracted areas, within muscle fibers. Needles help to reduce muscle spasms and pain — while promoting blood flow to a targeted area.

At Body-N-Balance, cupping and dry needling are included in treatment plans for the majority of our patients. Click below to hear our patients’ experiences with these, and other, treatments at our studio.
