Dr. Monica Ferrer, PT, DPT

 

Monica is originally from South Florida, where she grew up dancing and playing volleyball. She attended the University of Florida and majored in Physiology and Kinesiology with a minor in Disabilities in Society. She graduated from Emory University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and holds certifications in pelvic health training through the Herman and Wallace Rehabilitation Institute.

Following a dance injury at a young age, physical therapy became her passion and she enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries for patients of all ages. She also holds a special interest in pelvic floor dysfunction for women and men.

Monica implements a full-body approach during treatments and utilizes a wide variety of techniques including manual therapy, cupping, gua sha, dry needling, Redcord and Pilates. Her mission is to provide education, individualized exercise programs and help clients achieve their physical therapy and personal goals.

When not at BODY-N-BALANCE, Monica enjoys an active lifestyle, traveling, trying new restaurants, and capturing memories through photography.
