Monique Howard, MPT

 

Originally from San Diego, Monique was exposed to physical therapy while dancing and playing competitive sports. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and her master's degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Fresno in 2000. Travel opportunities allowed her to work in diverse clinical settings from inpatient neurological rehabilitation to outpatient orthopedics.

At Body-N-Balance, Monique creates a physical therapy experience unique to each patient incorporating manual treatments such as soft tissue and joint mobilization, gua sha, cupping, trigger point dry needling, and a strength/flexibility program utilizing Redcord, Pilates and therapeutic exercise. Her mission is to treat and educate patients on posture and proper movement patterns that will restore balance and overall function allowing patients to return to activities and enjoy life.
